Mitch Kantor brings over 40 years of experience to Cathedral, specializing in financial services for mortgage bankers and brokers, private lenders, and staff leasing companies (PEOs). His expertise spans financial statement audits, internal control analysis, servicing and subservicing oversight, HUD LEAP filings, and tax preparation for small businesses across diverse industries. 

Before joining Cathedral, Mitch served as an Audit Partner at Acquavella, Chiarelli, and Shuster; Sklar, Kantor, Block LLP; and Hirshfield and Kantor LLP. He has been a Board Member of the Empire State Mortgage Bankers Association and an advisor and speaker for The New York Association of Mortgage Brokers, where he was honored as Affiliate of the Year. 

Mitch holds a Bachelor of Science from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Binghamton and maintains active CPA licenses in New York, Pennsylvania, and Vermont. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Empire State Mortgage Bankers Association. 

Outside of his professional life, Mitch enjoys classic cars, gardening, and sports.
