Brian Nowak is the Head of Business Development at Cathedral CPAs and Advisors, where he is responsible for driving firm growth, strengthening client relationships, and supporting partners and service line leaders with go-to-market strategy, outreach, and business development execution. His work focuses on aligning Cathedral’s audit, tax, and advisory services with the needs of closely held businesses, financial institutions, and high-trust client relationships.

Brian began his career in banking and regulatory compliance in 2012 and brings a decade of experience across financial services, public accounting advisory support, and risk and compliance consulting. He is a former Federal Reserve Bank Examiner and has worked closely with community banks, credit unions, mortgage lenders, and small businesses on regulatory expectations, operational risk, governance, and growth strategy. His background allows him to translate complex regulatory and financial topics into practical conversations that resonate with clients and prospects.

In addition to his business development leadership, Brian is known for his direct, relationship driven approach and his ability to collaborate across teams to support long term client success and firm wide growth.

Outside of work, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, practicing yoga, coaching youth sports, and running a large annual Christmas light display that supports Toys 4 Tots.
